Our new space will feature a front area for folks to socialize and gather in. We’ll have a Cafe & Bookstore, offering coffee from local friends and rad books and zines for purchase, sliding scale, and free. Along with that, we’ll also have products from featured makers and artists, we’ll have space for one artist or collective on the wall, and two makers from Richmond to have their products on display and for sale. We hope to serve more of the community and support local artists and makers by offering this rotating space.
We’ll also return to hosting weekend events in the space. We offered this in Scotts Addition, and are excited to facilitate more of this again. If you’re interested in having a sweet event in our space, please check out how to book an event or show. We’re hoping to also have space available for rad organizations or clubs to meet or host workshops in the shop during non-shop hours. Rag & Bones is also hoping to have food pop-ups to support local folks in their endeavors to offer something delicious to their community. These would ideally only be happening Saturdays when everything is open and running, or during special events.
