Our zine library has officially launched! You can find it on our large bookshelf, in between the first and second disco ball on the way to fix your bike. You can purchase zines and read about bikes any time that Rag & Bones or Tag Along Café are open.
As an educational space first and foremost, we maintain a sliding scale zine space, where you can get zines for $1-5. The library sells a variety of printed media from local to global, on everything from bikes to gardening, political theory to much. We purchase local zines from sellers to have in stock, so if you’d like us to sell your zine send us an email at connect@ragandbonesrva.org.
As a Park Tool School, Rag & Bones also has the current edition of the Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair by Calvin Jones. This is always for sale in our shop and used to teach our workshops from the Park Tool curriculum. Rag & Bones also stocks a few other favorite DIY focused bicycle books, come in and check them out. We also have a huge library of vintage books about bicycles that you can read while you wait for a bike stand or hang out in our community café space.
